overview

In a step somewhat out-of-line with most of my peers, I decided to build this website before my print-version portfolio. Perhaps due to my work in web as well as print, I believe in the priority of a strong web-presence to any designer. The internet is a great tool for self-promotion, and I am using this website to not only showcase my work, but also to further my "brand" identity and awareness.

In both print and online portfolio presentation, I believe in a clean and subtle design that allows the work to speak for itself. While a good deal of thought and preparation were put into this website, I created a relative minimalist design that allows for clear navigation and efficient usability. I am proud of my projects and want to give them the spotlight they deserve, free of ostentatious distractions.

I included this About section to give a little background on myself and my work process. Such information helps give a more complete picture of the designer. I had a vision for how the Work section would be setup and am happy to have made no compromises in the execution of that ideal. The Blog section is there to allow me to post some thoughts on various aspects of graphic design and marketing. I will also be using the blog to post up some experimental pieces. The Contact section is about as straight-forward as it gets.
