Overview

Printed and digital brochure outlining benefits and new features of a product recently acquired by a larger organization.

I collaborated with the product and sales teams to draft copy, select images, and then designed the brochure.

Background

Education publisher McGraw-Hill had recently acquired Engrade was needed new and updated marketing materials.

Goal

Update marketing materials for Engrade products to align with new parent company McGraw-Hill and also to reflect new developments in the product. These assets would then be used by the sales team.

Challenges

This was the first time we developed marketing work that brought in the new brand. We had to align with that while also not completely abandoning the existing Engrade brand so as to not confuse potential customers familiar with Engrade.

Solution

I met with the creative team already at McGraw-Hill to better familiarize myself with the brand and brand guidelines and then designed something that fit with both brands as Engrade was still in the process of shifting its visual identity to fall under McGraw-Hill.

Impact

The sales team loved the new marketing materials and used these pieces to continue successfully generating revenue.

Learnings

This was a transition project for Engrade and I learned a lot about what was our new branding from McGraw-Hill. That allowed me to easily adopt it and shift our look and feel to the larger brand for added consistency and a unified presence.
